Restaurant Casajuana
About This Spot
Stepping into Restaurant Casajuana feels like finding a quiet retreat tucked away on a peaceful corner of Gràcia. The pace here is unhurried, inviting you to settle in and savor the moment, whether you’re stopping by for a casual lunch or a relaxed evening meal. The atmosphere blends a subtle warmth with a hint of neighborhood familiarity — the kind of place where you might quickly become a regular, drawn by its unpretentious charm and welcoming spirit.
The heart of the experience lies in how the kitchen and service come together effortlessly, creating a sense of ease that colors the entire visit. The menu, rich with local and Mediterranean touches, reveals itself in shared moments over tapas or a thoughtfully prepared paella. From the comforting crunch of a crisp pan con tomate to the lively conversation sparked by plates like baby octopus or tender solomillo, food here is meant to be enjoyed without rush, accompanied by the genuine attentiveness of a team that knows their guests by name.
This isn’t a place for flashy presentation or overwhelming buzz — instead, it offers a honest, approachable experience where laughter and easy conversation fill the gaps between bites. Friendly staff encourage a feeling of belonging, whether you’re discovering the spot by chance or returning for a second helping before your trip ends.
There’s a quiet joy in the way tastes and textures come together at Casajuana, the kind of joy that stays with you long after you’ve left the table. It’s the subtle rhythms of local life, distilled into a meal shared with care and genuine connection.

The menu is very diverse, we have tried on a couple of days many delicious things. The service is very quick and attentive and the prices quite low.

Chanced upon this gem while walking back to our nearby hotel. Very good food served especially the paella, soup and tapas. Loved the friendly service provided by Adrian and for filling our dinner table with laughters. Went there two times during our five day stay in Barcelona so it says a lot about their food and service.

Wonderful little restaurant on fairly quiet corner. The service was exceptional and the food was awesome! Highly recommend checking out their fixed menu. No stars available to mark for affordability, but what a bargain for such a a great experience that we happened upon. Check it out if you have the chance.

Jumped for tapas. Delicious tapas for good price, loved their tortilla de patatas ( planning to go for options with eggplant), púlpitos ( baby octopus), croquetas extremely good, chocos were a little hard. Service is good and fast.
